Tool box doors sound great. So does the gilbert show, but that is right-out for me.

I know we could use a few here in kc, once you get around to mailing them.

Glad to see really nice tools being used productively.

Now, what about the business side of making panels? Someone has to pay the bills and keep the electricity running. Does the production office know what you are doing so they can manage the machine time? Not saying side project don't happen, but if this is going to become an accepted product line, somewhere someone has to put it in the books and figure out how the company will be able to make payroll.

And while we are talking parts, what about upper and lower gas tank halves? There don't seem to be many NOS ones left, and pump gas isn't helping the ones in use stay happy and corrosion-free. Sell them as parts and let the buyers assemble at their own worksite, otherwise you might have to get all kinds of automotive safety bureaucracy involved.

The first sets of parts are being done as "Time and Material" jobs to capture the costs of making them. One of the nice things about Cameron is that we do not have a bunch of management "layers". As a large "job shop" we do this type of work every day. Does not matter if it's parts for a rail car, gas well company or in this case, jeep body panels. As far as the gas tank goes, I do not see us getting into making them. We will focus on body parts, brackets, etc.

Hinge is Stainless Steel (like original). Note the "kick up" for the tunnel plate.

Gilbert is much to far for me to attend. What will it take to have one of these tool box covers delivered to 84129?

We can arrange that. I'm going to get prices by mid next week (before the show). The guys in the shop did a great job with getting these parts done for me as our normal work load has picked up and I've been stressing about getting these ready for the show. We're priming the lids today and will prime the fender tops on Monday.

Tool box lids are primed. Finished DA sanding these about 1/2 hour ago (six sets). They will go to CMD on Monday for primer coat and then to Gilbert.

I also could you some pieces of the angled metal arounf the bottom of the body and the whell wells. also the fender tops.

Sold a few sets of panels at Gilbert. We are going to hold the "show" price on the first run of parts. Rear fender tops are $180 for a set (Left & Right) or $100 each. The tool box lids are $100 each. Shipping and handling not included. At this time I have 8 tool box lids and 4 sets of fender tops left over. I will give the 838 members first pick of these parts. PM if you are interested and we can arrange payment, etc. We take credit cards at the shop. By end of this week I will list parts on e-bay as I want to move them. Thank you to those of you that purchased parts at the show and I got to meet some more members including Moose.

Hi Eddie. Do you know if this is different from the A1 or A2? Does anyone else know? I need to make one of these for my A1. On the angled flange, are you just going to remove your flange and "lap" the new piece over top and use body fill?
