10 October, final work being done to smooth out the edges that were not part of the panels from Guy. I'm afraid I'll have to consider adding the attachments hole for the gas can straps as well a the top bows, as my cousin was a little over-enthusiastic.....

I'll handle the sanding of the non-repaired areas when the truck comes home in a couple of weeks, then have to decide on finishing in 24087 or 4-color MERDC with a grey desert scheme. Marking will be for 2nd AD, 502nd MP Company, and I'll add the siren, red light and the spare tire plate to complete.
Only five years so far............

Guy Loomis, my cousin (hot rod builder, and also full Tucker Torpedo resto under his belt) who, with his son have been doing the panel work on my A2, complemented the size, accuracy and precise fit of the various panels from your shop, especially the fender tops, which literally dropped in place. Although removing the old metal was a lot of spot weld plug cutting, adding the fresh 18 ga metal went very quickly!
