I would have added extra insulation to the back of the heat shield while it was off. You will see later why I say that.

I am talking about the floor between the seats getting o hot it cam melt plastic. Yes, I know that from experience.

Yes rick, I know what you are referring to, that is where we would also set our c ration cans to heat up, also think that the paint would eventually get just a shade darker there, but then again it might have been from the stuff that got spilled there.rickf wrote:I am talking about the floor between the seats getting o hot it cam melt plastic. Got another area looking better then it was, also closing up the holes where probably an M14 rifle mount was located, going to retain the mount on the r/h side, as on that side it won't interfere with my feet.

Found this Run # 7 on this panel. Does this mean that this was the 7th time that this panel was run? Does anybody have any more info or knowledge on this? I e mailed Ken of Muttguru but have not heard back form him, hope he is well. Larry

When I get that deep into a repair I always stick my sweeper end up in the channel a peck it with a small hammer,,,you will get a lot of junk out of it...

Got another area partially roughed in. Used a replacement panel for the bottom, got the battery box area roughed in, still have to put on some of the shovel brackets etc.

Looking good, looks like the side repair panel from Guy is long enough to make the full horizontal run after cutting the side drain out. Keep the pics coming.
