I was only in Germany one time and that was 1975 but I do remember that most of the secondary roads were rather narrow compared to US roads. I am thinking that would be rather interesting in a Humvee.

I pretty much had the vehicles I always wanted, granted the Jeep MB was in reality a M201, the M35A2s I only had one year each,... But I always wanted a Humvee. And correct, it is probably not the most practical vehicle in Europe. Don't think it would have been fun to drive it through the French and Italian Alps as the trails are for sure too narrow for it.
