So after some cleaning I found some bad rust area on the frame. I decieded to Repair the frame instead of bolting some of repair rails over the rotten areas.
I have to say that I did not know how to weld and basically had a crash course through a friend and started.

The repair rail do NOT get put over the rotted rails, the rotted ones are cut off first and then the new ones welded on. The reason they are wider is to give you new clean metal to weld to.

And my makeshift rotisserie. I saw that on facbook. Works quite well actually.

Since the weather is stoll quite bad and I cannot do anything outside I started to take the power pack apart. First I take the transmission off. I twas backed in a solid 5mm thick crust of mud and oil and I had to clean it first. I thought it might be well worn and was afraid to change it completele. But when I opend it I was quit surpprised about the good condition of the interior. No rust pitting and also no obvious wear.

Jup, interesting! So either the M151 was only sitting somewhere outside or the transmission was changed shortly before it was taken out of service!
Curious about the engine now!

Some new pictures of my project. I was able to finish the engine and put the power pack together.
On the engine I put in new gasket, checked the wear on sleeves. Did a thorough cleaning and gave it a fresh coat of paint.
Carb fully overhauled including a sonic cleaning.
