OK , Panels are kicking my ass!!!!
Any tricks to this trade?
Basically butchering every connection point(weld ,Plug surface) Is this the correct way or am I a bull in a china shop?
This is on extraction of old panels only!

Lndsay, Bodywork is a learned trade, it is not something you just jump into and expect to be perfect at. It takes years of practice. I could probably help but you need to learn to put pictures on the computer. Postimige is a very easy program to use and TJ wrote up a good tutorial on how to use it. It is a sticky in the General section. Cutting out spot welds is not a job where the panels just fall apart, 7 out of 10 will hang and have to be cut with a spot weld panel separator tool. Or a sharpened heavy putty knife which is what I use for the most part. But if they are cut correctly the panel will not be mangled. It sounds like you are either not getting the bit centered or you are not cutting deep enough. Again, we need pictures to see what the problem is.
