One thing left was to insulate the floor because my dog is going to be in there at Aberdeen. I had a plastic bag of brake of brake parts between the seats and the bag melted to the floor!
Hi guys,
is this the first time that this "heating of transmission tunnel cover" ever mentioned on the forum :?: ever since i've noticed this, always wonder why it was overlooked during the designed process
just an observation........

They had to tuck the exhaust up tight to the floor, there is a heat shield but if you are not moving at a decent speed there is not enough airflow around the shield and the heat just transfers to the floor. Nice for keeping a coffee warm on a cold day but it is a bear in the summertime. Everything I did there is easily lifted out so no mods made.

My hat's off to you, and Mr. Dibbles. Top quality work! I've watched both threads with great interest, and learned alot. And mostly, that I have a lot to learn! (learning to weld would be a good start.) I humbly bow to the Masters of historical preservation. Well done gentlemen!!!
