Off topic, I noticed in one of the recent photos a locking device on the kill switch. Did you make that or is that something alot of you guys are using (something a guy could purchase)?
Joe
Joe, That locking device was made by a member on here or the 503. I do not remember who it was now. All it is is a couple of pieces of aluminum angle and a rivet. Notched for the switch and drilled to mount behind the switch nut. It could be defeated fairly easily but it is mainly to keep kids from playing and make it a little harder for thieves. I use a cobra cable looped through the brake and clutch pedals and up through the steering wheel when I have to leave it out at night. I have gotten very creative on some of my vehicles, My CJ you have to flip three switches And they all have to be in the right position. Right does not always mean "ON" either. Oh, the three switches are not all together. I also failed to mention that the switches are not necessarily marked correctly either.

I want to thank everyone who contributed to this ordeal. You all know who you are, If I start naming names I am bound to forget someone. Hell, I am not even sure who I am in the morning anymore! And to think, I get to do this again this winter. As it sits I am not happy with some of the bodywork but I can fix that at a later date. The front diff is leaking on one side so I am going to fill it up and see what happens. If it gets too bad I will just pull the drive axles off of the front, I am not going to be needing four wheel drive for Aberdeen anyway.

Hey, I may cut the grass tomorrow! If I can find the lawn mower.
On second thought, I can bale it and sell it.

Rick,
My deuce had the same device and I am the first civy owner. Other vehicles from the same guard unit had the same thing. At least at this unit they were doing while the vehicles were still in service. I posted pics of mine a couple of years ago on Steelsoldiers.com. BTW, Nice and just in time for Aberdeen.

Yes I am, You will find that I will protect my dog as well as my children. The kids are long gone so now all I have is the dog. He does not talk back, does what he is told and will sit by you no matter what. Yup, I spoil my dog.
