Nice lift, my next door neighbor has a two post in his garage, Ferrari 360 modena on top and 911 carrera on the bottom  The best part is I have free reign to use the lift with the code to get into the garage for when he's not home, needless to say I only use it when he's home as i'm not putting my grubby hands on either of his cars. My mutt has seen many of hours on his lift though! One question about your lift, how do you raise the vehicle off the lift to service things like brakes and such, when I worked as a mechanic our four post alignment racks had hydraulic jacks that would slide in the middle, is that an option you did without or??

Also way to go on that jeep bro it looks awesome!! Keep up the good work.

Those hydraulic jacks are options with the Bendpak lift but I didn't get them. My main reason for buying the lift, several years back, was to increase my garage parking. It's a 2.5 car garage that with the lift I'm able to get 4 cars into. When I do the brakes I have to do them on the floor because I can't take the tires off on the lift.

Just put a 4 X 4 across the ramps and use a bottle jack on the 4 X 4.

That's alright. The ceiling is probably the floor to the master bedroom. I am sure his wife wouldn't mind if there was a riser in the middle of the bedroom floor.

I will say no more on that subject.

lets see now, Mr. D's wife has a vehicle Mr D has another vehicle, plus 2 jeeps, 1 Austin Healey and all this in a 4 car garage.
Mr. D, if you sell me one of your Jeeps the problem would be solved, me thinks.

Good eye Clell, its Thai teak. Those have been around for 13 years or so. The small tables amongst them and the folding chair in the foreground also Thai but last year. Our place is in the Maritime Alps, town of Grasse, over looking the Mediterranean about 9 miles away.

Say Mr. D, there is someone else's name on that Mutt, are you trying to tell us something??

It's been a lot of fun for all of us to live through your restoration, I think it makes us all think a bit more everytime we do something on our rigs, am I taking a short cut or should I take a little more time and do it to the best of my abilities like Mr. D would???? Thanks for all the post and letting us follow along :)
