mutt restoration in Pakistan
So finally i decided to restore my mutt m 825.i faced a lot of difficulties regarding parts availability.still i tried to restore it in original condition.only distributor and carburetor are not orignal rest all the jeep is orignal.and regarding to color of mutt i posted in g503 and few members replied me, as i can not color in olive drab, desert tan or any other army color due to current going on situation in Pakistan. Therefore i decided to go for change color.
Still i will need suggestions, criticism for the sake of construction will be welcomed
I am uploading pictures if any body comes with suggestion that will be warmly welcomed

Welcome to the g838 and Hello from Florida.
As for color, you could go with Air Force Blue ( gloss ) and not put military markings on it.
Like the blue on this one.

Re: mutt restoration in Pakistan
That is the AM General body serial number. Important are the five digits behind the C151. These numbers can help you to identify the year of manufacturing and where the Mutt was in service. Perhaps Ken aka muttguru can tell us more related to his records.vicious77 wrote:What does this number indicates?this plate is attached down with 4x4 gear lever and near to gas pedel.what does this number means?

Please keep the progress coming and documented here. That's a nice straight looking Mutt you have there. Excellent photos too.
