Getting closer to being done, need a little brake adjustment and a front end alignment, change the bumper and some small odd's and ends to tighten up

the side reflector tape is red, don't know why the flash from the camera made it look yellow

Nice early M151 hood. :-) Also, in some of the picture, there is a bracket that I haven't seen before. It's bolted to the inside rear suspension mount on the passenger side. Looks like it goes back to the diff area. What is it and what's the purpose?

That is a late A2 hood and the bracket you are referring to is a factory modification piece to prevent the diff from moving around and loosening the bolts. A2 only item.

thanks for the replys Rick, the hood is new from TNJ, when figuring the time to strip the old and knock out all the dents buying a new was the way to go, the diff mount bracket is kinda of a bitch when you put the other brackets on and forget it and have to go back and put it on :x

actually the bracket is a 72 contract item only. They found out that the unibody was too weak in that area and "engineered" those brackets. Later contracts should not have them.

I knew it was one or two years but did not know what ones. I have a couple sets of those brackets somewhere.
