Think it's beyond restoration?
I came across this on Face Book. This is impressive. I especially like the fact that he's stick welding!

Makes my project look like child's play. Every time I think I got it bad I will just refer back to this restore and to yours Guy. We're not worthy, we're not worthy.

I would not be surprised if he made them, I have seen the Vietnamese do some amazing things with body work. And with minimal tools at that.

Re: Think it's beyond restoration?
I know Juan Le and have been to several of the fab shops with John in Saigon, they can fab anything and they do it by hand with hammer and anvil sometimes in shops dirt floors and tarp ceilings. Its nothing short of amazing. I had photos of an old 151 (not A1 or A2) John found and was having restored two years ago, we went to the shop doing the work and I could not believe what the guy had fabbed without benders or modern metal tools. One day I will find those photos and post.
