I think it would make a nice addition.

Is it me or does the rear of the drivers seat look weird for some reason? Clip board in the pocket? Rear wheel blue, front green.

Naval Station San Diego, 32nd St, had a bunch a2s in the mid/late '90s they used for Base Security people. Don't know if they were the 'glorious' Strata blue, but certainly close to it. No pics, not allowed and all that jazz.
Some people are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything

I don't think you are seeing the back seat. What is visible in that picture is the passenger side outside panel and the rear fender well.

What is very Air Force about the picture is the customized (short sleeve) cammo jungle jacket, civilian antennae, and speaker mounted on the windshield. Of course, the AF vehicles did not have shovels or axes..... LOL.

Not to further perpetuate your prejudices toward the Air Force, but your seat comment reminded me of this Mutt at U-Tapao in 1975.

Got the AF Strato Blue paint in, but the powder coat guy is having a tough time locating the same color in Powder.

I could always paint the wheels in enamel, but they just don't hold up as well as if you have them powder coated.

I've had several versions of the "this sucks" cartoon. The first one was all the way back in Vietnam. Somehow lost that one. I still have my short timer cartoons!

I almost posted "Murphy's Law of Combat", but this thread would end up with 60 pages!!!!!

Start a new thread in the General section with the title Murphys law of combat. We can always use a good laugh.
