Footman loops

Unread post by Refit1701 » September 28th, 2018, 1:14 pm

Were the mutt footman loops welded on or bolted? All of mine seem bolted on the 62.

The later, at least my 64 and up, were welded. I have heard that some of the very early ones were bolted. Ken might be able to help on that one. There are a couple of other B numbered 151's on here if you can track those guys down.

Well, OK, that is nice. Some kind person stole every one off the body at some point in the past I guess I can get some from Guy and drill them out.

It weird, on an otherwise original looking body with most everything still on it.

Get hold of Guy Pizzaforatto, He used to have them and I think the bolt ons are different from the welded ones. The bolt on ones have a recessed hole for tapered head screws.

I'm still working on this as the ones I recently purchased didn't fit. They will go in the big box of extra parts that takes up half my garage! LOL
