Ab-15 antenna cable hole location

Unread post by dsw » February 22nd, 2019, 3:06 pm

I just installed the side mount bracket for the Ab-15 antenna for a R442. It is on the right passenger side with the shield. I have looked at pictures for days and have not found any showing how or where the cable goes thru the side pannel. Would you drill right below the edge of the bracket or thru both bracket and side pannel? If you don't stay close to the bracket the shield won't protect the cable. Any help appreciated. Thanks Scott.l

Here's mine, sure I did the research before I drilled but it's been years. Be sure to use a rubber gromet.
