I have an M151A1 that I fixed up. Not restored as it is rewelded, but it came out pretty good. I have a newer power pack in it and it runs good. My last problem is the temp guage. I always let the Jeep get up to operating temp before I drive around in it. My temp guage usually gets stuck, and I have to tap it to get the needle moving up. Replaced the sending unit and the guage, and checked the wiring. Most of the time if I tap it while it's warming up, it will go up to the 180 degree mark, and I can see the thermostat open, so I know the engine is running at the right temp. Is this a common problem? And is there a fix? Doesn't hurt anything, just bugs me.
