Have an 82 or 83 Marine Corps A2 with faded paint.
If I am going to repaint it correctly should I paint it with 34052 Marine Corps green or 34079 Forest Green ?

I could be wrong, but my belief is that the USMC used either 24052 (semigloss) or 34052 (flat) marine corp forest green from WW2 thru Vietnam. after that time period bulk purchases were made of vehicles which were then distributed to various services so they were all in the 4 color camo base color of 34079 forest green and the end user then camo'd or not per their own commanders.
