Missing brake parts

Missing brake parts
Hi All:
I'm working on a 1967(?) M151A1 and have found that the left rear backing plate is missing everything except the bearings and brake cylinder.
Does anyone know where I can get all the springs, pins, brake shoes, and etc.? (Moderators: you can move this to the "For Sale" forum if appropriate).
Possibly would be better to buy a complete backing plate with all hardware?

Have what looks like a NOS backing plate.
What exactly do you need for hardware besides shoes ?
Have most of whats necessary.

Mine is missing everything except the brake cylinder, so I need all the pins, springs, slack adjusters, etc.

Frontline has a complete set w/ e-brake band for $69.

If i am not mistaken they dont come with hadare.
Thats what. I found when I bought from him.
Remember they use Blue colored springs with bonded shoes.

Said it wrong.
The adjusters and springs came ith them.
I didnt get the return springs and the retainer spring did not.
Had to buy them locally.

I bought a new set of bonded shoes (8 pcs) on eBay which came with slack adjusters and related springs (4 each).
I also bought a full set of cylinder return springs, shoe keeper springs with eye tabs; Raybestos #H7037.
Finally, I bought 3/4" NOS cylinders for the rear, and 1" NOS cylinders for the front.
I was going to re-use two sets of shoes, but they were different manufacture, and since I've never driven an M151A1, decided to use all new shoes to help ensure even braking.
As a side note, I am getting the four drums turned, and will place them closest-match diameter side-to-side, largest diameter to the front, smallest to the rear (ie, largest diameter left front, next largest right front, next left rear, smallest right rear). If I don't like the size difference, I'll replace the worst one or two. The larger diameters will be to the left for the weight of the driver.

The drums should be cut exactly the same for each axle. There should not be four different sizes, only two if any at all. If they were within a couple thousandths I would cut them all the same. But NEVER cut drums for one axle set different sizes, nothing but heartache there. And a very poor judgement call by the machinist if they were sent out for the work.
You are running an A1 which "should" have 3/4" cylinders on all four wheels. That said, I put the one inch on the front of my A1 and have been very happy with the results. Much safer stopping. That was the main reason for doing it when they switched to the A2, to get the brake bias moved towards the front.

OK Rick, I will wait for the other two drums to be ready for cutting, and take the four to the machinist and tell him to make them the same diameter.
I am installing the 1" cylinders on the front after doing some reading on the effects of that mod; and as I know that in automotive terms, front braking effort is normally higher.
