Check wire G at the turn signal switch with the brake pedal pushed or the wires jumped. There should be power coming into the switch on that wire. If no power on that wire then the problem is in the headlight switch. If there is power at that wire then with the turn signals off you should have power coming out on both 22-460 and 22-461. If not then the turn signal switch is the culprit.

I made a pretty good living when I had my shop chasing them out of cars. DC electric is pretty easy once you have a diagram or at least a general idea of where the circuits are. It has to start at the battery and it has to return to the battery, no other way to do it. Oh, If you let the magic smoke out then all bets are off.

I'm following this closely..... The left rear brake and turn signal lights have gone out in my Encore. I need to chase this one down before the local police chase me down. I think Rick and Fil's comments just gave me all the info I need to figure this one out.
