Adjust hand brake
Hi Guys,
My A2 hand brake now needs adjusting so I found I must screw in the Knob on the end of the handle to do so but it seems to be frozen on . Is there a trick to it or what? I don't want to apply too much force and break it off. It hasn't been moved in the last four years. Any advice is welcome.

Re: Adjust hand brake
That is just a fine adjustment and it may already be all the way in. The primary adjustments are made down below on the band. And be sure to pay attention to the two adjusting bolts on the sides of the bands, they are to set the distance of the band fro the drum to prevent it from dragging. I do not have the specs in front of me but they are in the -20 manual available on here in the manuals section for free. try turning the handle out and see if it will go that way, if it does then the adjustment will need to be made below after turning the handle adjustment out.

Rick I threw that one in but wasn't sure you would pick up on it. Good catch. So I got down under , turned a couple of nuts and BINGO. Thanks.

Re: Adjust hand brake
You might try spraying a little PB Blaster in to the knob. Perhaps it got stuck.
