I recently bought a pile of parts. Within were various brake drums. Some NOS ones and used ones.So I am looking to indentify the drums in order to install on my A2 resto project.
The used ones have round edges and sharp edges. Is this a difference in manufacturers? Or are there any late or early style drums?
The NOS ones look more like repro to me since they came with a funny box. And they do not fit the wheel spindle. The inner diameter is too tight.
What am I looking at?

That is the right number but that drum does not look right. Hard to tell with the way the light is reflecting off of it but the military replacements did not use fancy paint, that is for sure.

Here is some more pictures of the drum However, I think it is a repro. I found the same thing on some websites of German M151 dealer.
