Bouncing gauges

Unread post by bazookajoe » August 19th, 2017, 8:56 pm

I noticed a while ago that the needles on my gauges on my A-1 had started bouncing, and when I turned on the turned on the turn signals they would flutter. When i would pull outward on the top light switch lever they would stabilize. I mentioned it to a friend Everett at the Weare show ,and he said replace the light switch. Tonight i did so and the problem is gone, thanx to his tip.

Dirty contact in the light switch. Someday when you are bored and buried in snow take the switch apart and clean the contacts and all will be well again.

As an aside were you selling at Weare?
Think I may have seen you there selling a 151 head assembly.
