Rear springs question

I have a question. On a straight M151, what is the measurement for the rear coil springs? Mine is jacked up so high the two tires almost touch at the bottom.

I got chastized for even suggesting this, but my truck was all jacked up in the back as well. I trimmed exactly one full circle off the end of the spring and it sits perfectly now. After a year there has been no ill-effect, and I use my truck for working.
