Starter install

Do I have to remove the transmission cover to install the starter ? I am putting an a2 back together.

I believe you do. With that cover removed you'll have that starter replaced in about 10 minutes or less.

It will take longer to repair or replace the cage nuts that hold the cover down than replace the starter... :lol: :lol:
