I'm not a 100% sure but i think the info you're looking for is in TM 9-238 "Deep Water Fording of Ordnance Materiel"

I don't know where I put my TM but I'm sure some body on here has it. I will keep looking and post the info if I find it.

Of course the old dawgs on here probably know the info by heart, I'm sure one of them will chime in with the info.

Eric: I didn't look but I would bet both pins have the same stock number.

Floyd, you're probably right. The other pin would probably not serve any different purpose than the original.

Dears:
The "PIN" included in the Deep water fording kit in cuted through along, not the original.
I do not know why. And Why the kit include this pin if it does not have diferent function????
I will take Pictures of the diferents PINS.

PD:
(SORRY FOR MY POOR ENGLISH)

hello

if you take a good look there it is a litle different at the tip
if the intake pipe is on the original pin wil not go out or in
it is put from the outside in and come to the intake pipe
i know it a verry minor difference bud thads way it is there
this is standing in the manual from the fording kit

Good catch George. I just looked up the numbers, the standard pin fits all jeeps and has a part number of 7331383. The DWFK pin comes in a kit, P/N 7536098 or its individual number of 10950856. Some times it's just better to look first.
