toyota red ant-freeze

Unread post by Mark » January 19th, 2018, 10:39 pm

I put toyota red anti-freeze in the A2, (had green anti-freeze in it), drove it a little every week for the past 2 months, then it sat for a couple weeks. So just drove it, so now I got a leak in the core area.So would the red toyota antifreeze eat a hole in the radiator?

hi

below a nice Toyota item about antifreeze /coolant
https://parts.olathetoyota.com/blog/ult ... olor-guide

i don't think it eat the copper
it is possible your radiator is worn out from the inside from erosion (they are getting old )
maybe the coolant solved inside the radiator a piece tad has hold the radiator not leaking
i dit my radiator clean inside and it leaks everywhere :( i put a new one in :D
