Re: Fuel Pump Identification
well, what is to identify... Obviously a fuel pump from some other engine, not a 151. Soft line instead of a hard line to the carb, no vent line.

Re: Fuel Pump Identification
Doesn't look anything like the Dodge slant six pump I've been running since 2006.

Re: Fuel Pump Identification
Details of this fuel pump were sent to me by an owner in the USA. He reckons that this is a direct fit for the A2-series.
I have not had the opportunity to verify whether it works on an A2. It's a Carter 3553 model.
If anyone out there gets to check against the original Airtex pump I'd really appreciate it if you can let me know whether it fits or not.....and I'm sure other members will thank you, too !
thanks....
Ken

Re: Fuel Pump Identification
Ok, Here is the Carter pump, click on the picture on the right and note the cam arm. http://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/carter ... +pump,6256
Here is the Airtex pump. Note the cam arm, Much different shape and further in. I think this pump could possibly bind on the cam and do damage. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php ... 72&jsn=868
And here is the Kaiser pump just for the hell of it, the pump is upside down in the picture. http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/kais ... +pump,6256
