Yea know......, Technically The M-151 is not truly a 4X4. It only get power to one front wheel and one rear wheel. Does That makes it a 1x1. :?:

Seems to me if you put all 4 wheels up the air, push the front wheel drive lever to the front, run the mutt, all 4 wheels will turn

With equal traction all four wheels will drive, as in slippery mud or snow. With open differentials the power will transfer to the wheel with the least traction though so if you have one tire on solid ground and one on ice the the one on the ice will spin. A trick here is to lightly apply the brakes and get some resistance in that tire on the ice and then the other tire will start driving.
