That price is WAY out of date! I buy 10 at a time and my price is much higher than that. There is also one gasket you do not get that I feel is quite important and you need to order it separately. I don't have the number offhand, they have it in my order records. It is the gasket for the emulsion jet that screws into the bottom of the bowl.

Clean out the idle passage and idle tube with carb cleaner andcthen blow it out with air.
When you reassemble things don't miss reistalling the mini O ring on the idle tube.
Hope this helps.

Eddie, You may be able to cheat and just take out the idle mixture screw and flush it out real well with carb cleaner and then blow it out but do not use 120 lbs of shop air, just go easy with light bursts or you could damage the accelerator diaphragm. put the screw back in all the way to a GENTLE seat and back out two turns and then start it up and warm it up and adjust your idle mixture. Sometimes this will work in place of disassembly.

Ok.. I dont know to get off subject on this thread but wanted to thank you all. I Already had taken the carb off and cleaned it before I saw your message Rick.. It was a real pain getting it to pick up the gas again. I was trying to get it to do it with starter fluid. I hope i didnt damage anything. I finally undone the fuel line at the fuel pump and pushed the gas out with and air hose and and old shirt at the tank. I then attached the hose and pushed air thru until I saw gas in the fuel filter and then it started. And it now Idles.. I'm gonna start another thread as to not over take this gentlemans thread. Thanks for all the help it now idles! :)

You should not have any problem at all priming it just by cranking. That sounds to me like a bad fuel pump. Take the line off at the carb and crank it with the line in a can and see if you are getting strong spurts of gas with good volume. I am assuming this is an A2 style setup with the mechanical pump.
