Heres a good one for you guys....
From what I have found after rebuilding a M422 distributor and an M151 distributor, I would come to the conclusion that it seems all 24v distributors use the same components and are set up the same. With the exception fo the capacitor lead on the M422 being longer, all of the components look the exact same. (I am talking solid state). I havent ripped open my M37 distributor yet to verify yet.
Any of you guys know? They all the same?
PS - if any of you have an old M422 distributor Lower housing sitting around, I'd buy it. Want to keep an extra!

Re: Distributor question for 24v MV's
All of the M series distributors are the same but keep in mind that the M-37 is 6 cylinder so most of the internal parts will be different. Also, I do not know if the advance weights are the same, I would not think they are since the engines are all different and will require different advance curves.

Good point on the weights, Rick.

Not the weights, the springs.
