Correct Wheel Seal and Steering Sets?

Unread post by Challenger2 » July 30th, 2018, 2:08 pm

I am continuing my strip down of the front axles, suspension and steering of my M151A2 ('77-78) and need to fit new wheel seals.
I know the front suspension design is common across all the models but is the wheel seal kit #559100 I have seen available compatible with the A2?
Likewise, is the early version of the steering parts kit #5703302 (with separate dust covers and grease points on the ball joints) also good to go on the A2?

Hi guys,
Its a bit crazy replying to my own post but I thought I could start the ball rolling. Thanks to the 60+ who have clicked on this post but it is an answer to the question I am really looking for from the combined brains of the G838 community who have always delighted me with their wisdom.

I do need to get news wheel seals for my A2 quickly - are the seals available on eBay here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/WHEEL-SPINDLE- ... SwytJZ8pX4 suitable for an A2?

Thanks

Steve
