Engine will not shut off

Those two heavy wires are not in the right spots I am pretty sure. The #5 wire goes to the positive terminal which is the one inline with the cable guide large slot to the right in that pic and the #568 wire goes in the small slot above it and there is a clamp that goes over them. What is the number on that large wire on the center terminal? Take all of those wires off and tape the ends and start it up and see if it shuts off.
