I used Acetone to remove the dried powder and glue-like stuff. Washed the acetone off with Dawn dishwashing detergent, then applied 303 Protectant to the vinyl top. I think I got this tip from the G503 site.

Hello Cal, acetone is a solvent, you have to be careful, tomorrow I'm going to test to see if it comes out and I'll tell you how ... the sun light protector is for giving it with acetone or just because you like to protect the hood?
