I have fighting a dormant 4 speed water/crap filled transmission for a while now. Used PB blaster and a flat tip screw driver and a thick bar (with the shifter out). Finally got it to break free and shift into all gears. HIP HIP Hurrah

If it was that bad the roller bearings are going to be bad also and will need replacement.
