Bud plate

Unread post by cstaup » February 20th, 2008, 8:30 am

I am in the process of "legalizing" my MUTT. It had, one time a Bud (or BUDD) plate. Now there are only two little scraps of data plate and a rust spot where it once was.

Coulsd someone post a pic of a real budd plate? I plan on making a new one with my new VIN, (State of Ohio will issue me a new VIN as mine is missing).

Thanks, Chris

Just so you know, The Budd plate had nothing to do with the VIN. The VIN was on the data plate on the dash.

Thanks Rick, I still want to replicate a BUDD plate with my "new" VIN. I also plan to put it on a new data plate.

This thing had no data plates on it 'cept for the distributor, generator, starter, horn, etc...

Bubba done tore off the rest of them other painted over pieces of tin.
