Rear shock bushing replacement

Unread post by homerguy » March 21st, 2008, 7:47 pm

I need some bushings for m151. How much trouble are they to change and should I go for shocks at the same time?

Bushings

Hey homerguy,

Think the answer to your questions is, go all the way. Bushings are noted to be a bear to replace,
and if your already there, what's another $35 to complete the job with new parts. I'm all for
replacing expendable parts that have been removed anyway. There are detailed threads of the
drilling and removal of the bushings on other sites. I've never done it personally, but eventually
will, and I'm not lookin forward to it. We'd like to see the pictures when your done!

What, you thought I'd go to the 503? Oh ye of little faith!
Guess there may be some info there too, but why go look?

New shocks and bushings arrived today from Saturn.Good prices and speedy delivery. Is it worthwhile to pay someone to do this?
