I need some measurements for that, to weld the replacment in correctly.
I have a pic that will show what i need, i will send it to anybody willing to help me out.

Thanks in advance

Wittman I'd be happy to help but I don't have an A2 and don't know of one close by. Good luck.

I have a crushed one at home that I can turn over and lay a tape measure on to give you a good idea. I can not do it until the weekend though since it is getting dark by the time I get home from work.

I can help you out. What exactly do you need? I see the mount in the picture but not sure what measurement you want.

I am happy to help with measurements too. I have been out of town, and tomorrow we take the kids to Disney World, but my A2 is in the garage waiting for me to measure what you need if you can be more clear in exactly what you're looking for. I would think you want real tight measurements here... not "eye balling".

I now i should have posted a pic , but i thought i let ya know i am currently reparing my own car (a Fiat Marea).

It develloped a water leak in a pipe coming directly from the waterpump. I demontaged it to day to try and weld it , but after a test drive it was leaking again. So i test drove it directly to the dealer and ordered a new waterpipe. It's due Wensday. Mannnnnnnnnnnnnn you don't wanna know what that litle pipe costs me.................. 50 Euro's, a pipe not even 30 cm long. Yup it's italian. Anyway, after i fixed that i shall return here for more mutt talk. :D :D :D

cheers,.........

A bit late but i wish everbody on the list a very happy 2008.

Fix it again tony

Unread post by Witt1mann1 » January 18th, 2008, 4:56 am

Well i fixed it, the fiat is driveable again..

Well it was a secondhand car offcourse. And since i am smart enough to fix things my self i got a good deal on it. Now i am going to replace the waterpump , multibelts, and distibutionbelt and rollers, and clutch. Then it should be good for an other 100.000 Km.

It also has a towhook. I plan to buy a cartrailer so i can tow my mutt on that trailer to go to shows. 8) 8) 8)

Hello Guys

Back after a few years, former jeep was sold of. Know i am saving up again to go buy me a an other one. But this time i will make sure it is a driver. I hope to a have saved up enough by the end of this year to re-enter this marvelous hobby again.
Looking forward to discuss the m151 in al its aspects. I also still have all the manuals i collected back then. I have colleted over 206 MB of manuals and other things, i am planning to put it all on cd or usb sticks and sell them for a small amount. So i have something back for the effort of collecting al that info over the years. I also have manuals for the Willis Jeep Hmmv , dodge and chevy pick up trucks. So if anybody needs anything you can contact me and we can discuss the matter.

Well happy easter for ever one,
