oversized pistons

Unread post by cstaup » May 6th, 2008, 11:38 am

I have the engine block at a local machine shop for the A1. They called and told me that the cylinders are "oval" and it needs bored out.

Does anybody have an idea of availability of oversized pistons and rings. I'm asking because the machine shop is asking me :? .

Your help shore would be 'preciated.

Hey Chris,

I can help if you want another engine to start working on. I have a few spares, stored
outside now and before I got them. All A1's or older, at least I put a tarp on em.
