MUTT security devices.
Here's somewhere to post pics and details of security devices installed on MUTTs. No need to post details of secret switches or whatever, just the obvious stuff
I made this simple handbrake lock from a length of tube welded to a length of box section. I drilled a hole through it and through the handbrake lever bracket. It was suggested that I could have picked up the dimple at the rear of the base of the handbrake lever but I didn't feel that was secure enough so I preferred to drill a hole. The yellow paint is so that it matches the steering lock and looks official

And here's the photo Jetnoise400 posted of a lock on a Humvee:

I don't have a picture of it...not much to show, but I just have the military SOP chain welded to the floor. Loop the chain around the steering wheel and pad lock it....
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Re: MUTT security devices.
Here's a couple impromptu security devices I found in my Mutt the day after I bought it. Fairly effective, unless the thief brought along a can of tuna...

Re: MUTT security devices.
I have found that the best way to secure your M151, when you have to leave it someplace, is to take someone along to stand next to it holding one of these.

Re: MUTT security devices.
If it's on the FAL, it is not really a flash hider. It is a Austrian STG 58 version. It has no cutouts on the sides. It is threaded in the center of the bore of the "muzzle devise" so that a grenade launcher could be attached.

Re: MUTT security devices.
I figured it was too long plus no cutouts so it was not a muzzle brake or hider.
