OD Fever? Well I'm really not a fan of the color green really. OD green is less of a favorite color of mine. But I did enjoy running around the mud holes in a Humvee when I was in the military. And even before that I went mud running all the time in my Ford truck. And when I was a young whipper-snapper, my "Dream Car" was always a Jeep, when other kids wanted a Porche. (at least I was realistic with my dreams as a kid) ;)

We don't need anything bigger than the M37. Apparently the hubby was unaware of the 'size' of this beast when he bid on it. We went to get it, and since it was not running, there was actually no way to get it onto the trailer. By some kind of fate, there was a neighbor nearby who owned a crane. I kid you not, the M37 was CRANED onto the trailer. After only 10 blocks down the road, the hubby pulls over and suggests we find a 'storage unit' place and drop it off, then get some Auto Shipping company to come get it. I told him that the M37 wasn't going anywhere, that I had so many tow ropes and tie downs on it that if anything at all happened, that it would be the 'towing' truck that took the damage. (I ended up driving the entire way home, and I made him go to sleep, cuz he was freaking out with every little bump)

So there is def nothing bigger than the M37 getting bought. Though I have thought about one of those small armored tanks. ;) But seriously, the A1 & M37 are enough for right now. They will take up enough money getting them running and looking pretty. Then there are the two trailers that need a good going over as well. Yet more money to be spent I guess.

I say let the two avatar's fight it out, but there should be mud, lots and lots of mud. ;)

I can definitely see why you picked Xena as your alter-ego.

You say that now Xe....but just wait OD Fever has a way of taking one over...as I said it starts out innocent enough..it's just a jeep....but it grows and spreads through your cells till you can't help it... :) Just give it time....lol!

I'm sure the lack of unlimited funds will keep OD Fever at bay for a while still. ;)

Hubby went off for a 2 week mission yesterday, he asked "How much money can I take with me?", I asked "How much money do you think you'll need?" He replied with "Well how about $300?", I said "Sure, but just remember, the money you spend on your mission will be 'less' the amount you'll be able to spend on the A1 when you get back."

We still have to come up with tuition funds for the 3rd grader before July as well. Though I love my hubby and want him to be happy while restoring the A1, my daughter's edumacation funds come first.

It's a real pic, with some photoshop modifications done to it. Besides, why run when you can fly? My avatar has wings. ;)
