Hello,

I need help to identify a part. I have no idea to wich truck it belongs, I could not find anything in the internet so far.
Maybe one of you guys can help me out?

Is that the yoke that inserts into the transmission/transfer case that the drive shaft is mated to :?:

No, the yoke slides on the shaft to give clearance to remove the drive shaft. Possibly very early straight 151 axle shaft? I will see if I can look it up tonight. That date code would suggest it to be too late for that though.

That is an early wheel yoke that the hub with the 5 wheel studs slips over. :)

That would be item # 9 in this photo. The hole's look like they have threads so they were used mostly on the front wheels with the block caps and 12 point "small" headed bolts on just 2 of the cross shafts, the ones without threads use the U type clamps with nuts and lock washers.

It's the correct "early" rear hub yoke. They used the "square" headed universal joints (as used on the front and rear drive shaft). My 62 has those on the rear.

Thanks to all of you for identifying the parts !!! I thought of this the first time, but I have never seen an old M151 in original shape.

i have the same unkown part in the rear axle in my A2.
Question: its possible to chance to the standard yoke without problem?

google says, the old and the new yoke has the same part number?
