Panel lights WERE not working

Unread post by Bucolic » October 9th, 2015, 12:23 am

Can anyone tell me why my panel lights don't work? I installed a new wiring harness (A-2) in my A-1. As far as I can tell, everything else works. The high-beam indicator works like it's supposed to, the headlights work high & low beams. I don't know about the taillights yet as I don't have a rear panel.
I just want what I've got to work. I did check the bulbs, they work. There is a good ground, as evidenced by the high beam indicator working and the gauge lights work when I apply voltage to them with a jumper. The panel lights are the only place #40 wire is used.

Never mind... I studied the "Operation of light switches" and found out I have to put the auxiliary light switch lever in either H or G position for the panel lights to work. I did that and guess what, they work.
