tools to make my 151 life easier

Unread post by Horst » September 8th, 2008, 2:39 pm

Picked up some tools today to make maintenance a littler easier.

First one is to fill up the transmission. Drained the oil today and sealed that little cover on the transmission. Now this tool is simple but made the refill of the gear oil easy:

As I also had to grease all the fittings, as I have an A2 of course significant less than on an A1, but still that set now makes accessing the hard ones less difficult:

Horst, I have actually used something similar to the oil fill gun for years but mine does not have the clear cylinder, nice touch. I really like the grease tools, where did you get them?

Rick,

Got the grease tools at some German tool warehouse. But as so many items they are Made in China and as such probably available world wide. At least that oil pump was good old Made in Germany...

The needle fitting for the grease gun is the most useful of all of those. It makes greasing the axle u-joints next to the wheels much easier. 8) :D
