Every time he gets started on a project he finds a new girlfriend and the project sits. Then he starts another project and finds another girlfriend. If only he would get rid of at least one of the girlfriends he might get something done.

Better than my reasons for stalling on a project. I usually get bogged down by lack of funds or a busy work schedule. At least he is having more fun in his downtime between updates.

Today I installed the carburator mod power pack into my 67A1, here are some photos and a short video (if it works) I still need to make a air cleaner hook up and install a gas peddle cable. The video seems to be skipping, also keep in mind that the exhaust isn't hooked up. :)

A bunji throttle, that is interesting. Not very precise though.

 Any Port in a storm! That was the first thing I could find that would reach around to the steering wheel area so I could sit on the gas tank and push the starter button, didn't need the choke. Did the video (1st small photo) work? My computer crashed again and I am on my sons. :(

Yes it was a little choppy but it worked. Stop downloading all of that "adult content" and you won't have as much problem with your computer.

And I can reach the carb with my left hand and push the starter button with my right with the door off. Must be the height differential.

While watching the video, there seemed to be a lag when the bungee cord was pulled and the throttle responded, similar to the regular Zenith carb setup. Although I understand this is a one-off modification in search of improvement, there didn't seem to be what I would consider a payoff for the large amount of work to date. Not being critical, just an observation. After all, it seems that there should be a side-draft carb setup that could be exploited for use on the M151 series other than one with an Ord number.....

Any updates on this project? I am thinking about doing this kind of upgrade and was wandering how it was going. Also why did you go with the 32 DCOF and not a DCOE Carb?

I used the DCOF because I wanted the manual choke, as I have sold the 67 and no longer have a driver there are no updates, it ran very good on the floor and sitting in the 67, was unable to get in any road time.
