Not that my dads input would matter much these days on the topic of modifications dad and I did modify a badly rusted out demilled m151a1 unibody welded in floors and support braces and placed it on a bronco II frame we had to torch the frame and shorten it space the frame out to fit the area of the uniframe so it could be bolted to some angled steel cross braces along the existing frame my dad decided to scrap the project after he learned how the bronco II had roll over problems and so he decided the best way to build a solid axle m151 was by trying to build a m151lc from some old pictures

Hi, just so everyone will know, "I" deleted the last 2 post here, if you want to resort to calling each other names, then do it in a e-mail or PM, not on the open forum!

Just about all the components on ahmmwv are too big and heavy for a mutt imo. I have played around with the idea of using the hmmwv geared hubs, they would give increased strength(not that mutt hubs are the weak point) and ground clearance, but in my opinion that's just to much unsprung weight for the mutt. My dad messed around with the idea of putting a mutt tub on his hmmwv chassis, but scrapped the idea to work on other projects. Heres a pic

That's some interesting work there Garett.

That's not what i'm looking for in my rig. For me it still has to look stock on the outside. The inside is where all my mods are.
