won't it look a bit like the Popemobile with that roof line, heck you could stand up in the back with the top up.

"Popemobile"    Thats funny
Yes it looks like that, but cannot lower it as it is just above the head of the person sitting on the rear fender seats. So to seat 4, it has to be this high.

A fun trip to country side with lots of goodies, hunting trip or even a beer party.
I do also have people who think they know ALL about jeeps, sit there and scare the sh*t out of them while driving. Makes me feel empowered.

No no no nooooo, what have u done mate?
You want to seat 4, tell 'em all to sit on the floor at the back. Issue each a cushion and you can house 4 at the back. You can then strap two ice boxes on the fenders for your beer party.

Too late for that, i know its ugly as it can be, but it still it is a top, and already paid for.
Also it is removable as it is mounted only by four bolts, 2 on the windscreen and two on the fenders, unscrew all four and the top can be easily removed by lifting it.

I know i know, it still is an ugly top, still its better than roasting in the sweltering sun!
Though i am still interested and looking for a standard A2 top. This is just temporary.

8) Hey Sam, when we first got our mutts in Germany in 1961 we made doors out of plywood so the Officers would not fall out.

Yeah :), straight off the neighbor's front door, Motorcityman.

Dan, were the doors then disallowed by the MPs or did the officers initial excitement wear off eventually?
