Micki broke the digital camera..OOPS!

Unread post by M151-LC » December 30th, 2007, 1:23 am

Well I have to go out and find a replacement camera tommorow, but we do have some new project work done, been kind of lazy during the Holidays and all, but we now have the new dash handle completly stripped and painted and a few other parts thta were sent to Nate, Micki and I for holiday gifts.

The new dash handle was once a side handle for a Ford GPW, we had a M38A1 Dash handle, but it showed up missing when our arc and mig welders were stolen a few months back. Never leave equipment like this out even if you live as far awy from civilization as we do!

We were able to snag a have decent arc welder at a pawn shop a few weeks ago but no luck just yet finding a used mig or tig welder. On another item we wanted to discuss after trying it out for the first time was J-B Weld. We have up till now used a very expensive yet time rewarding product used in the Military known as Liquid steel.

Not having quite enough cash to buy a supply this month with the Holidays and all, I opted to try J-B Weld, a cold weld type mixture made right here in Texas.

I have seen the package and read the claims and decided to give it a try on a old M151A1 gas tank I had in the shop. Worked like a charm and about $50.00 cheaper then Liquid Steel no doubt. I am planning to try it out on a cracked L-Head 134 engine block itting in the back of the garage in the very near future and see if the results of the claims are true...LOL

Anyway a very happy New Year to all from Bleddyn, Nate and Micki.

If anyone should break cameras it's old me...LOL That girl is beutiful, the older she gets the more pretty she gets! I am a man who loves womans eyes, and my daughter has great eyes, an old Welsh saying is a looker.

My wife Tina has wonderful eyes, very seductive and peircing.

Micki's boy friend Kyle, a Marine at Camp Pendelton have spoken as fellow Marines often do...LOL...and man he loves my daughters eyes...LOL.
