Ford was responsible for the early Solid axel M151A2-LC, but it was American Motors who perfect and the concept prototype.
As soon as I get all the information pertaining to the M151A2-LC American Motors prototype, I will post it here first.
American Motors had invested Millions in a full fledge civilain model and then for no reason mysteriously scraped the entire project after building 6 prototypes.
I do know no Ford M151A2 -LC's still exist, but 4 of the 6 American Motors M151A2-LC Jeeps were sold to the public and are in the hands of private owners in the United States.
Nate and I are going to try and track these current owners and see if we can get pictures to post on this web page.
We do know at least two these vehicles were ran through Trials and testing by the Military.
Anyone who can come up with any leeds we are all ears guys.
