map light??

I want to mount a "map light" in my MUTT...I ahd one in my MUTT in the Army, but I have no idea how to hook it up or where to get one....I think they originally came fro tanks....the have a switch and illuminate red and white....I think??? Anyone help???

Hey there HEPROX. I think you mean this light, as shown on the picture. I think that the map lights were never officially issued to MUTTs, but they make a nice accessory, no doubt about that. I am putting one on my rig as well. The best position would be as shown on the picture, and the wíring is really easy as it has its own switch. It has the regular rubber conenctor female at the bottom, so all you need to do is splitting a wire, or use the adaptor to get aditional positive pole and hook it up. The negative pole can be grounded anywhere on the body wher you have a good chance to get good, solid ground. Good luck.
