I lkes the ideas, like the rear wheel one. What I didn't know was that you could play around with the plates in a place like the US, we can't even think about having them verticle here.

There are rules here too that say the plate has to be mounted in a certain place and a certain way but it varies by what state you are in and sometimes is not enforced. In NJ it would not fly. Ten years ago the cops were a lot more lenient but now we have a new crop of young cops that want to make a name for themselves. What they don't realize is that name will follow them their entire career and will not endear them to a lot of people. I have been stopped for speeding in the past and the cop will say " I didn't see your seat belt on". I got a ticket for no seat belt but not for speeding. The seat belt ticket is a fine only where the speeding ticket is a fine and points on my license, which can have a drastic affect on insurance rates in NJ. Now I will remember that cop as a good guy that got the point across without causing me more financial stress than was necessary.

CS.....got my gas cap bar in the mail today......I tell my mailman that he is delivering "body parts" to me ( Mutt parts ), and he always want to see what "parts " come in today. The best one was the wrapped leg part ( Mutt top ) from Mr. R. It was wrapped in plastic and looked like a "green leg" part. Thanks, Seabee

Good deal SeaBee, they work really well. Lowes has a nice little Keyed Master Lock with a plastic coating on the outside for about $5 that works really well. Send me a photo once you get it installed.

Thanks Seabee, been here for awhile, just haven't been too active. Retired last month and should "have time", hahaha, to start on my swiss cheese A2.....at least or it should run well....good motor, just swiss cheese body. Got a buddy who builds Rat Rods, says the holes are easy to fix so we'll see. I gotta agree with him after seeing some of the things he's hauled into his shop and welded up.

Here's the way I do my license plate. In Florida, we are required to have a license plate while we are driving on the road, but not for parades or shows. So, I made a bracket, bought a license plate holder, installed a 24V bulb and attached the holder to the bracket and painted it all OD. I wired a connector to the running lights up through the floor under the rear seat. It fits over the top of the gas/water can and can easily be removed for a parade or show. Looks decent, complies with the law and is very functional. I am also working on installing some 24V "TOW LIGHTS" (viewable in the picture) with magnetic mounts to give additional lighting on the rear while I'm driving on the road. It is also wired under the back seat with a flat plug for easy removal. The A1 lights are a little small. I've only used them once, but they appear to give much better visibility. If anyone needs a picture, let me know. I can't seem to get a picture to display up here.
